About these terms

HorseShows.uk is a trading name of Horse Shows Directory UK Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales. These terms apply when you use HorseShows.uk. By using the site you agree to them. Contact: hello@horseshows.uk.

What HorseShows.uk is

HorseShows.uk is a free directory that helps riders find horse events in the UK. We don't run the events, sell entries or take payments. Entries, bookings and payments are made directly with the venue, club or organiser on their own website.

We are independent. We are not part of, and are not endorsed by, any of the venues, clubs, governing bodies or organisations whose events we list.

How listings are made

We use simple tools to spot event dates on venues' and organisers' own websites and entry systems, and a real person checks and confirms each one before it goes live. Venues, clubs and organisers can also tell us about their events using our form.

Accuracy (E&OE)

We take care to keep dates and details accurate, but errors and omissions are accepted (E&OE). Venues can change, postpone or cancel events at any time, and we may not know straight away. Always check the details with the venue or organiser before you enter, pay or travel.

We are not responsible for any loss, cost or disappointment caused by relying on a listing, including travel costs or entry fees.

Championship dates

For a championship or final that riders can only enter by qualifying, we show the name, the dates and the place as a date marker only, with no link. These are shown so that organisers and riders can avoid clashes. Dates marked "Provisional" may change.

Links to other websites

Listings link to websites run by venues, clubs, organisers and other third parties. We don't control those websites and aren't responsible for their content, safety, availability or how they use your information. A link is not a recommendation.

Events, safety and conduct

Events are run by their organisers, not by us. Each organiser is responsible for its own event, including safety, insurance, rules, entry conditions and refunds. Any question or complaint about an event should go to its organiser.

Information you send us

If you tell us about a venue, club or event, you confirm that the details are correct and that you are allowed to share them. You allow us to show those details on HorseShows.uk and to tidy the wording, such as shortening a title.

Using the site

Please use the site fairly and lawfully. Don't try to break it, overload it, or copy large parts of it by any means without our written permission.

Availability

We aim to keep the site running, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may change, suspend or remove any part of it at any time.

Our liability

The site is provided free and "as is". As far as the law allows, Horse Shows Directory UK Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or any website it links to. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
